We are currently recruiting on behalf on an independent small animal practice who require an additional vet to join their team on a permanent basis.

• £35,000 + based on experience

The Practice:
This practice is a first opinion, small animal practice with a professional team of 3 vets and 4 RVNs. They practice have all the usual equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, blood machine etc. They offer a full range of services from first vaccinations, neutering and routine surgery as well as their own in-house emergencies. The practice also has exciting plans to move to a new, larger premises by late 2017 and have plans to also expand their team and possibly out-source their OOHs.

The Role:
This is an exciting full-time position to join a growing practice. The hours are between 8:30am-6:30pm with 1 in 3 weekends working Saturday mornings then on-call through till Monday.
There is also 1 in 3-weekday OOHs requirements currently (plans to outsource in the near future).

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years practice experience and be confident to join the practice’s OOH rota.

In return, the practice can offer a starting salary of £35,000+ based on experience, as well as generous CPD and additional benefits.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
