We are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon for a lovely first opinion, 100% small animal two branch practice based in South East London.
The Practice:
This practice was established in 2000, they are part of a two-centre RCVS accredited practice and nurse training centre. They are 100% small animal, looking after clients dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits, with on-site procedures hospitalisation, full surgical and medical facilities, CR radiography, Endo/Bronchoscopy (Video) Ultrasound, Idexxx up to date analysers. With a busy caseload with an average of 30-40 patients per day the team are friendly and well informed and offer the very best of modern veterinary care to their clients' much-loved pets.
The Role:
This role is full-time, working Monday - Friday 8 am - 7 pm with a weekend rota of 1 in 2 Saturdays (half day). There may be some sole charge and inpatients may need attending to during unsociable hours, however, there is no out of hours required for new cases.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will exhibit team leadership skills, team motivation skills and exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills. You must comply with the RCVS code of professional conduct, and deliver exceptional levels of client service.
You will assist the Senior Veterinary Surgeon in implementing cost-effective measures in running the practices and assist in the training of nursing and ancillary staff as required. There is an opportunity to participate in events and community projects. You will be working over two branches so you will need your own vehicle.
In return, you will receive a generous salary dependant on experience, 28 days holiday per year including bank holidays, CPD 5 days and £1000 allowance.
