We are currently working with a practice in Darlington that aims to practice good quality medicine and excellent client care. They are looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their 3 vet team.
The Practice:
They are one of the leading vets in Darlington. They are a fully registered and qualified training practice who, although based in Darlington also cover a larger area serving Newton Aycliffe and its surrounding areas (up to a 20-mile radius). They have over 30 years of experience and the practice has been trading for a century so if you come to them you can rest assured you are getting the very best in reliable treatment for your pets and animals.
The Role:
The role will be to work with a close-knit team, and it’s important that you enjoy working as part of a team and that you are interested in people.
Typical GP responsibilities and 1st opinion at this busy practice. They encourage the study towards certification and there is also the potential for development as a clinical director and opportunities at other new sites they plan to open.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will be able to fit in well with the existing, close-knit team. The practice would prefer candidates with experience of working at an RVS practice. You will have a friendly and pleasant character with a good approach to dealing with colleagues and clients alike.
Summary:
Role: Permanent Veterinary Surgeon
Type: Small animal
Hours: Full time, 8:30 - 6:30 4 days a week on rota basis
Weekends: 1:3 Saturday
OOH: No out of hours
Location: Darlington, North Yorkshire
Salary: £29,000 - £50,000+ Dependent on experience, £2000 CPD allowance, VDS covered
To qualify for this position, you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
