We are working with a small animal practice in Bath, Somerset that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis. Our client can be flexible in terms of hours for this role so can be either full or part-time.

The Practice:
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. 
When it comes to boutique city life, Bath has it all; a relaxed cafe culture, a buzzing nightlife, history in abundance all set within close proximity to the wonderful countryside and major travel routes.
The clinical team currently consists of 4 vets, 4 nurses and a fantastically friendly reception team. All Out of Hours calls is handled by a local referral hospital.

The Role:
This role can be flexible in terms of hours, including full or part-time, however, the weekend commitments are shared equally (including the partners) on a 1 in 3 weekend basis. Weekend work results in generous time off the following week. 

There will be a mix of early and late starts along with corresponding early and late finishes. The opening hours of the practice are Monday to Friday 9am-8pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.

The Candidate:
In this practice all of the vets share the same ethos and work together to provide the best of care in all situations, sharing cases, new ideas, and new techniques. The senior partners, have 30 years’ experience between them and welcome the development of individual interests.
