We are currently recruiting for an independent veterinary surgery in Bedfordshire who requires a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their practice on a part-time basis.
The Practice:
This practice is family run, offering 15-minute appointments in a friendly and caring environment. They have invested heavily in the equipment, facilities, and knowledge to provide a strong base for quality veterinary medicine and surgery.
The practice has a full Idexx in-house lab, ultrasound, Laparoscopic surgery, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, DR dental radiography, CR radiography along with other equipment necessary to carry out quality veterinary care.
They have a small team who enjoy working together including 2 receptionists, 2 nurses and 2 full-time equivalent vets. One of the vets is an advanced practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging.
The Role:
This role is part-time, the practice can be flexible depending on the candidate’s requirements. The working shifts are 8:30 and 7 pm, with no out of hours, and between 1:2 and 1:4 Saturday mornings.
The days will involve a mixture of consults and operations.
The Candidate:
The practice is interested in receiving applications from candidates with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join their strong veterinary team. The ideal candidate will be confident carrying out consultations and routine operations, as well as fitting in well to the small, friendly team
