We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be joining their team in a growing and progressive practice that is RCVS Tier 2 accredited.
You will need to be a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon with solid all-round skills who would be joining a team of 3 vets, 2 nurses (soon to have an SVN) and 3 receptionists. The hours can be full or part-time with a weekend rota of 1 in 3. There will be some sole charge.
You will be comfortable interacting with clients and their pets have a real passion for animal healthcare and be good with people. Applicants must have good general surgical and medical skills and be confident with sole charge. Candidates will also work well in a team and have a strong customer focus with the ability to build good relationships with regular clients.
