We are currently recruiting for a permanent, full-time vet to join a lovely team within a busy and expanding practice in Dorchester, Dorset.
The Practice:
Our client is a small animal practice based in Dorset that prides themselves on offering first class care for all pets. They adopt a holistic approach to Veterinary care too. They offer a fully comprehensive list of services, including consulting and diagnostics, operating, specialist orthopaedic service, acupuncture, dermatology, homeopathy, physiotherapy, behavioural services and nurse clinics. They have a team of 7 experienced vets, 5 RVN’s and a team of 7 support staff.
The practice has just undergone a major renovation and are hoping to gain hospital status in the near future.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week on a rota basis but will be between 08:00 and 20:00. There is a requirement for 1 night on-call during the week where you will work 10:00-19:00 and be on call until the morning and you will only be called in in case of emergency. There is a 1:6 weekend rota which you will work Saturday 09:00-13:00 in practice then on call until Sunday where you will work 09:00-13:00 again and be back on call until Monday morning.
The client is looking for someone who is confident with emergency surgeries and has a keen interest in ECC and emergent surgery.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
