A unique opportunity is available for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic team in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The team, consisting of 8 vets, is supportive and diverse, boasting a wide range of interests including medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
Role Details:
The role is tailored towards your strengths and interests.
The practice performs a wide range of surgeries, including cruciate and patella surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and BOAS surgery. If you're keen on developing your surgical skills, this role would be ideal for you.
If medicine is your area of interest, the practice has a wide range of diagnostic equipment, including Imagyst, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, and i-STAT. The vast majority of cases are worked up in-house, and there are dedicated hospital shifts which are a mix of caring for in-patients and seeing emergency cases, as well as usual consulting and operating days.
Skills and Experiemce:
The practice supports new graduates and is a VetGDP-registered practice, making it an excellent opportunity for new and recent graduates.
Working Hours:
The role offers a four-day week for full-time vets.
The shift pattern includes approximately 1 in 8 Saturday mornings (8.00 am-12.30 pm) with Time Off in Lieu during the week.
No out-of-hours/Bank Holidays
Part-time applicants are considered as well.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range is £35,000-65,000 pa/, FTE dependent on experience. Additional certificates or experience may negotiate a higher salary bracket. The practice offers a range of benefits, including:
