This practice in Brixton is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will thrive in a general practice environment, building strong relationships with clients and their beloved animals. The role involves working alongside a trainee nurse and a sole charge vet, supporting them in day-to-day practice life. The new team member will also have the opportunity to perform nurse clinics, further strengthening the bond with patients.

Hours: The role includes a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Sunday rotation in the Hospital, plus 1 bank holiday per year. There are no on-call requirements for this position.

About the Practice:

  • The practice is situated in the heart of Brixton, a vibrant area known for its food markets and the famous Ritzy Cinema.
  • The practice has been serving the community for over 20 years and is well-equipped with a fully functional operating theatre, digital radiography, dental radiography, and ultrasound. The practice is open seven days a week, ensuring consistent care for patients.
  • The team comprises of 5 veterinary surgeons, 7 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student nurses, and supportive reception staff. The practice is RCVS accredited, ensuring high standards in veterinary care.
  • The practice is fully supported by the 24-hour Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon for any complex cases that need to be referred or for any patients who require out-of-hours care. The successful candidate will also receive full support from a regional manager and regional head vet for any clinical or operational support needed.

Salary: £31,000 to £35,000 FTE, depending on experience
