The Practice: Part of a group - This RCVS-accredited practice takes pride in providing excellent patient care while fostering a positive work environment.
Facilities & Equipment: The practice is committed to maintaining modern facilities and regularly investing in new equipment. Current resources include:
- In-house Idexx analysers (haematology, biochemistry, and SNAP test machines)
- Microscope
- Diathermy unit with monopolar & bipolar capabilities
- Digital X-rays
- Handheld dental X-ray
- A range of surgical kits
- A brand-new ultrasound machine
The Team: You will be joining a team that consists of 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), 2 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs), 1 Kennel Assistant, 4 Receptionists, and an RVN Practice Manager. The practice values teamwork and ensures that clinicians are supported by experienced colleagues and Joint Venture Partners, making it a great environment for case discussions and professional growth.
The Role Description:
- Hours: Full-Time
- OOHS: No out-of-hours work is required.
- Duties: A varied schedule that includes consultations and surgical procedures.
- Consultations: Routine 15-minute appointments, with extended slots for complex cases and euthanasia.
- Surgical Procedures: Routine neutering, lumpectomies, dentals, as well as more advanced surgeries such as splenectomies and foreign body removals (depending on experience and interest).
- In-Patient Management: Providing high-quality care for hospitalized patients, with the support of a skilled nursing team.

- Competitive salary: £38,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience and rota)
