Permanent Experienced Veterinary Surgeon, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Type: 85% small, 10% equine, 5% farm mix - OR Small Animal Only

Role: They are seeking an experienced Mixed or Small animal vet surgeon to join their lovely team.
Hours:
- Full-time, 5 or 4 days per week
- One night on call per week (with support by another vet)
- Part-time hours are negotiable but ideally at least 2 full days per week plus the below weekend rota cover
- 1 full weekend on call in every 6 (for every full weekend worked, no night on call the following week and a Friday or Monday off to make a long weekend)
- 1 Saturday morning in 3 (one of these will be part of the full weekend on call every 6)
- Bank holiday cover equally shared
Applicant Requirements:
- They are looking for a mixed animal Veterinary Surgeon, which will include 85% small animal, 10% equine, and 5% farm mix.
- A full driver's licence is required for this role
Remuneration Package:
- Experienced vet salary will be commensurate with experience and whether car, fuel card, and accommodation are required
- 6-month review resulting in salary increase on successful completion of a 6-month probationary period
- Year 1 review, salary increase, and bonus-related earnings
