- The practice is undergoing a significant transformation, moving into a cutting-edge 40,000 sq. ft. referral hospital equipped with state-of-the-art imaging technology, including:
- Siemens Magnetom Sola 1.5T MRI
- Siemens 64-slice CT scanner
- GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machine
- Toshiba DR Rotanode E7239X radiography unit
- Mobile C-Arm
- Siemens Luminos dRF Max combined digital radiography and fluoroscopy machine
- Portable radiography and new ultrasound equipment
- A brand-new, high-tech linear accelerator will further enhance the oncology service, solidifying the commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.
The Role: A leading veterinary referral centre is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinarian in Diagnostic Imaging to join their expanding team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing department consisting of three Diagnostic Imaging specialists, an experienced Diagnostic Imaging clinician, a radiographer, a Diagnostic Imaging intern, and six dedicated Diagnostic Imaging nurses.
Hours: Full-time
Role Responsibilities: The successful candidate will:
- Deliver clinical services as a Diagnostic Imaging consultant
- Play a key role in developing and expanding the Diagnostic Imaging service
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellence in patient care
- Supervise the Diagnostic Imaging intern
- Uphold professional standards that advance patient care
- Act as an ambassador for the Diagnostic Imaging team

- Qualifications & Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have an excellent command of written and spoken English with strong communication skills
- Demonstrate a professional and compassionate approach
- Provide proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Be a member of (or eligible for membership in) the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Have successfully completed a recognised ACVR or ECVDI residency in small animal diagnostic imaging
