Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Bridgend

Location: Bridgend, Cardiff
Practice: This 4 Vet practice is situated in Bridgend close to the beautiful South Wales coastline, close to Cardiff, where are proud to deliver the highest quality care to patients in their newly built surgery.
Facilities: The practice has recently gone through a revamp creating a wonderful spacious environment that is made up of 4 excellent consult rooms, a kennel and cattery, 2 x Theatres, a dirty prep theatre, a full inhouse lab, an isolation area, a washroom, and separate office but to ensure you have some space to have a cup of tea and time to reflect there is a fully fitted kitchen and separate office!
As the practice likes to do as much investigation work possible before referrals are made a CT is also available on a regular basis to give Vets better scope to support patients. Other equipment they have in practice includes:
- Doppler US
- ECG
- Endoscope
- Digital x-ray
- Dental x-ray
Team: The practice has a great team made up of 2 Vets, 4 nurses (2 Students and 2 Qualified), 10 x VCAs, a separate reception team, and a very experienced practice manager to ensure that the right candidate will be well supported.
Hours: The role itself can offer real flexibility to the right candidate, from short days or long days, full-time or part-time or taking a longer lunch to make sure your furry friend gets a nice walk on the beach their colleagues can consider it all.
OOHS: No OOH and they are currently closed on Sundays.

Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a Vet with a caring, compassionate, and friendly client communication style, with also a practical and down-to-the-earth fun attitude.
Salary: Up to £70,000 p/a (FTE) depending on experience and skills.
