Location: In the Leek area of Staffordshire - Situated near the beautiful Peak District, within easy reach of Manchester. London is only two hours away by train from Stoke.
Practice Type: Independent friendly practice
Services/Team: They are a friendly, local and compassionate team meeting all of the pets’ needs, whether it’s dogs, cats, small furries, or exotics. It is their opinion that pet deserves the best possible care and they will always endeavour to provide this. As they believe continuity of care to be important pets will be seen by the same experienced Veterinary Surgeons wherever possible and they pride themselves on the good personal relationships they hold with their clients. They have recently expanded the surgery to add a new state-of-the-art operating theatre!
Role: They are looking for experienced vets or vets required to join three-vet, independent, small animals practice
Hours: 3.5 – 4 days a week and every 3 Saturday mornings. No OOH. Job share considered. Practice hours are 08:30-18:00/18:30 Monday-Friday and 09:00-12:00 Saturday.
Skills/Exp: They are ideally looking for a vet with more than 6 years in practice experience. You should be confident consulting and proficient in routine surgeries, providing a professional service in a yet relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Salary Ranges: Competitive salary of between £50,000-£70,000 p/a that is reflective of skills and experience
The Package: They offer 36 days holiday (plus one additional day per year of service up to 5 days) pro-rata, £1500 CPD allowance minimum; workplace pension scheme, RCVS, and VDS fees paid.
