They have a full Idexx in-house lab, ultrasound (4 probes), Laparoscopic surgery, bronchoscopy, endoscopy, DR dental radiography, CR radiography, and everything else you can think of or desire! The practice is PSS and Cat Friendly accredited

Team info: They are a small team who enjoys working together, in a supportive environment. They are an RCVS-accredited nurse training practice and have an amazing nursing team with 4 RVNS, 2 SVNs, and 1 VCA. They also have a great reception team, who together with the nurses, make sure each day runs as smoothly as possible.

Role: They are ideally looking for a vet with some experience to join their team and there is so much opportunity to grow your knowledge and career here.

  • Their out-of-hours are outsourced to Vets Now in Barton-Le-Clay, who also look after their in-patients, so your evenings, weekends, and bank holidays are free to enjoy.

Consultations: They have 20-minute consultations as standard and the diary is scheduled to give the vets a break between 2 pm - 4 pm so there is plenty of time to have a proper lunch break, make phone calls, and catch up on admin.

Support:

  • They will always encourage you to follow your interests so if you’re looking to take on a certificate or want to expand your skills in a particular discipline they will do all they can.
  • They are forward thinking and use a continuous improvement process so that all the team can put forward their ideas and know their input is appreciated and will be acted upon. They use a card system for non-urgent ideas and issues to ensure things don’t get overlooked. They read out the cards at their regular practice meetings so they can all chat things through and make plans with the support of the whole team.
