​A forward-thinking practice located in Eastbourne is seeking an ambitious Veterinary Surgeon. This role is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary professional looking to expand their skills and knowledge in a supportive and stimulating environment. The Team:

The successful candidate will join a highly experienced team comprising 5.5 vets, a nursing team of 12, and a client care team of 7. This role is ideally suited to an experienced vet with a minimum of 2 years' experience, strong consulting ability, and solid surgical competency for routine surgeries.

The Duties:

The practice sees a variety of interesting cases and offers advanced services, including cardiology, behaviour, keyhole surgery, and dentistry. The team is committed to continual development and encourages special interest areas.

The Hours:

  • The role is full-time, but part-time applicants will also be considered.

  • There are no out-of-hours duties, and the weekend rota is 1 in 4.

The practice is a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery, purpose-built to industry-leading standards. It includes separate cat and dog ends, allowing for separate kennels, theatres, prep, and waiting areas to reduce stress to patients. The practice is equipped with the latest technology, including ultrasound, digital radiographs, dental radiography, an endoscope and laparoscope, an in-house lab, laser, and acupuncture.
