An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, family-run, non-corporate practice in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This is an ideal role for a vet looking for variety, a supportive team, and the chance to develop surgical and clinical skills in a friendly, dynamic environment.

  • A mix of work across the Main Centre and seven air-conditioned branch practices, providing a varied and engaging work environment.

The Role:

  • Alternate 4- and 5-day workweeks.
  • No night emergencies.
  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon, Wed, Fri), 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Tues, Thurs).
  • 1 in 4/5 Sat/Sun  

The Candidate:

  • Minimum 1+ years of recent UK experience in small animal practice.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to develop both surgical and clinical expertise.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a friendly, supportive environment.
