Veterinary Surgeon - Kingston upon Thames, London

Practice: Group practice - They're based in a lovely part of the world on the SW London/Surrey borders close to Wimbledon and Kingston-upon-Thames. Their clinical team have a huge variety of interests from surgery to emergencies, cardiology to opthalmology and although they do not have any certificate holders, they encourage all the team to implement gold standard learnings into clinical practice. 

Facilities: They have three (soon to be four consulting rooms), a dedicated prep room and theatre, a separate dental area as well as an x-ray, digital/dental ultrasound room, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, bronchoscopy, and a full surgical kit. They have separate cat and dog waiting rooms and kennels which allows for minimal stress for all of their patients. Depending on your special interests, they are always keen to invest in more equipment. 

Role: The day-to-day duties include consultations, surgery (routine and more complex including enterotomies, cystotomies, caesarean etc) with dedicated admin time. They work to high general practice standards and have an interesting, varied caseload.

Hours: Their full-time position is typically over 4 days with a mix of earlies and lates (1-2 per week) and 2 in 5 weekends (one full Saturday only). They have one duty night per week of inpatients. There is no out-of-hours

Salary: £65,000 depending on experience
