Location: New Forest National Park area of Hampshire
Practice: Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists is a multidisciplinary referral centre, providing a variety of interesting cases and opportunity to improve your skills. The practice has in the region of 80 nurses across the hospital, the wards team includes day, twilight and night nurses supported by VCAs.
Role: They are looking for a registered veterinary nurse who has a passion for providing advanced wards-based nursing care to medical, surgical, and high dependency patients.
Your role will include communicating with the clinical team and discipline-specific specialists, to ensure high-quality care, recovering patients from anaesthesia, and nursing our inpatients. You will be encouraged to build on your existing knowledge and skills.
Hours: This is a full-time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week with 1:5 weekends.
Applicant Requirements: They are looking for a dynamic individual with high attention to detail and an empathetic approach to patient care. You should possess the confidence to take initiative and actively contribute to the care of their patients. Previous experience in a referral practice is beneficial.
Salary: A competitive base salary up to £35,000
